Donate to the Arboretum

The Arboretum has come a long way -- transforming run-down farm land to the world's first restored prairie and native woodlands. With Aldo Leopold as its first director, the Arboretum has made history in the field of restoration ecology since it was dedicated in 1934.

Over the years, the generosity of our benefactors has enhanced the Arboretum’s ability to carry out its mission to conserve and restore Arboretum lands, advance restoration ecology and foster the land ethic.

Literally thousands of people have helped to make the Arboretum what it is today. Many contribute their time and talent, and we welcome their involvement in our volunteer program. Others, having learned about our work through free, public tours and events, have come to value what we do and joined Friends of the Arboretum, our non-profit support organization. As people learn more about us and our mission, they may want to also support the Arboretum financially.
